For your comfort, health and safety at the beginning of all consultations please notify me if you have any health conditions, allergies, disabilities, are pregnant and are taking any medications. For health and safety and insurance purposes there are some restrictions on what treatments can be offered if you suffer with the following conditions; diabetes, auto immune disorders, blood disorders including HIV and hepatitis and if you are taking blood thinning medications, steroid creams and immunosuppressants.

If you experience any discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please tell me immediately.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is behaving rudely, who may be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or if their health may affect the service being provided.

For returning clients please inform me of any changes at the start of the consultation.

Data Protection

All documents with personal data will be treated with confidence and under the guidance of the Data Protection Act. I will keep all documents in a secure location as accordance to the Data Protection Act. All information provided is used to maintain a safe and legal working practice.


I understand that emergencies happen. If you are unable to keep your appointment, I ask that you notify me with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. This gives me opportunity to offer your appointment to another client.

Repeated cancellations may require a deposit to be taken in order to secure any future appointments.

Late Arrivals

In order to respect the time of both clients and myself, I kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. I book multiple clients a day and allow a set period of time for the service you have booked for. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting me first it may result in your appointment having to be rescheduled. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contacting me first then I shall assume that you are not able to make your appointment and you will have to reschedule.

Repeated late arrivals will require a deposit to be taken in order to secure any future appointments.

No Show/Missed Appointments

In the event of a missed appointment without fair notice (as determined in the cancellation section) you will be unable to schedule any future appointments without a deposit.

All deposits will be used as part payment on completion of your scheduled appointment.

Child Policy

I am concerned with you and your children’s safety and as a result of being a home based salon I am unable to accommodate clients children whilst your appointment takes place.

I will not carry out a nail enhancement service on a person under the age of 16. This is due to insurance and health purposes. Persons aged between 16 and 18 require parental consent.

I reserve the right to ask for ID if I feel you are under the age of 18.


All payments for services provided are expected at the end of your treatment. I am more than happy to discuss with you all charges prior to beginning any treatment.

I accept cash only this is due to currently having no facility to accept card payments.

Service Guarantee and Refunds

Your satisfaction is my priority. If you are not happy please let me know during your treatment. I am committed to making any needed corrections.

Within 48 hours – Whilst every care and attention is taken to give you a nail service that will last – damages, breakages or chips can occur with general wear and tear. I will repair breakages or chips that occur in the first 48 hours free of charge. Anything after this time frame will occur a charge.

Other Issues

If you have any issues with your nails please let me know as soon as possible (within the first 48 hours). I do not offer refunds or free alternative treatments. I will rectify the problem on that set of nails. Changing of mind is excluded and problems caused by the mistreatment of the enhancements.

Pets in The Salon

I do not allow pets to be brought in, with the exception of service dogs.

Mobile Phones/Cameras

I kindly ask that photos are not taken during the treatment without prior agreement. The use of a mobile is allowed to make/receive calls/texts. I like to think that having a treatment is a bit of “me time” and suggest putting your phone on silent and focusing the time on you.

Eating and Drinking

 I kindly ask that you do not bring food with you as you will not be able to eat whilst you are having a treatment. Bottled drinks are allowed.

Other Peoples Work

For health and safety reasons I will not remove, infill or repair any enhancements that have been done elsewhere. This is due to not knowing what products have been used or the condition of your natural nail.
